Fostering Needs

There is an ongoing need for regular family care homes in Nanaimo, Lantzville and Ladysmith. From time to time we require caregivers with specialized skills. See below for fostering opportunities in our communities.

The Ministry of Children and Family Development is in need of Aboriginal caregivers, caregivers for youth and caregivers for children with mental health challenges.  If you are interested in these opportunities, please contact the Resources team at 250-741-5701.

Regular Foster Care Homes Needed

The Ministry of Children and Family Development continues to recruit regular family care homes. A comprehensive screening, orientation and assessment process will be required.
