This website is for the fostering communities of Nanaimo, Lantzville and Ladysmith.

The purpose of this site is to share information with foster families, prospective foster families and anyone who may be interested in supporting children in need in our communities.

This site explains the local procedures for becoming a foster parent. It also links to the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development fostering site, and other sites of interest to local foster parents. We will also be adding general community and parenting information.

Pre-Service Orientation


Pre-service orientation for families interested in fostering in the Nanaimo community

Invite will be in mail out

                June 3, 10 and 17, 2013
                9:30-noon and 1-4
                This orientation will cover six modules over a three day span.
